Union United Methodist Church Cemetery:

Union United Methodist Church and its cemetery are located in Wesley Chapel, Union County, North Carolina. Wesley Chapel was formerly part of Waxhaw, North Carolina. The church is believed to have been organized around 1800. Two churches burned at the site and services were discontinued until 1888 when a new one room church was erected. In 1910 the church was enlarged and then replaced in 1963 by the current building. Union United Methodist Church (New) Cemetery is located on New Town Road about 10 miles out of Monroe.
